Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires

Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires is the definitive book for those seeking to bring harmony into their life through the application of the Law of Attraction. Esther Hicks (external link) has been channeling a group of non-physical beings known as Abraham since the 1980s and together with her husband Jerry travels all over the United States to present Abraham's teachings (external link) through Art of Allowing workshops (external link). Over the years Abraham has offered a number of processes to help people soften their resistance and bring themselves into harmony with their desires and finally, in October 2004, these processes were brought together within this book.

Those who are new to the Law of Attraction and to Abraham Hicks' teachings (external link) will find this volume an erudite explanation of the theory, and a comprehensive introduction to the vibrational nature of the world in which we live. The book is extremely well-written, and explains the concepts clearly and concisely. The real power of the book however, is the twenty two processes it provides to give practical guidance to students who wish to raise their vibration, wherever they are on the emotional scale.

The twenty two processes that are eloquently described, often with examples, are:

  1. The Rampage of Appreciation
  2. The Magical Creation Box
  3. The Creative Workshop
  4. Virtual Reality
  5. The Prosperity Game
  6. The Process of Meditation
  7. Evaluating Dreams
  8. The Book of Positive Aspects
  9. Scripting
  10. The Place Mat Process
  11. Segment Intending
  12. Wouldn't It Be Nice If...?
  13. Which Thought Feels Better?
  14. The Process of Clearing Clutter for Clarity
  15. The Wallet Process
  16. Pivoting
  17. The Focus Wheel Process
  18. Finding the Feeling-Place
  19. Releasing Resistance to Become Free of Debt
  20. Turning It Over to the Manager
  21. Reclaiming One's Natural State of Health
  22. Moving Up the Emotional Scale
