Getting Thru to Your Emotions with EFT is an excellent book for teaching yourself EFT. Written in a relaxed, friendly style, this book is filled with practical applications for using EFT to overcome your limitations and turbo charge your personal development.

What I particularly liked about Getting Thru to Your Emotions with EFT is that it encourages you to look deeper at the issues you are handling with EFT. Prior to performing EFT, you are advised to examine your issue on 4 different levels:

Physical sensations—notice what you feel in your body when you focus on the problem.

Unresolved emotions—focus on the emotions you feel in relation to the problem.

Limiting beliefs—notice how you feel about your possibilities in the world when you focus on the problem.

Judgments—notice how you feel about yourself in relation to the problem.

Once you have treated the issue with EFT, you can then reevaluate each of these levels to see how they have changed.
