This Site is Viewable With Any Browser
In surfing the web you may have come across sites that tell you that the content is best viewed using a particular browser, and you may have found that if you are using a different one from the browser that is recommended that you cannot see all of the content, and in some cases are not allowed to view the page at all!
In my opinion, this approach is extremely short-sighted and undermines the principles of the World Wide Web as a resource open to all, regardless of the computer platform, operating system or browser technology.
Designed to Web Standards
I have designed this site carefully to adhere to web standards, as laid down by the W3C (external link). I use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to define how the information on my web site should be presented, leaving the XHTML uncluttered with presentation instructions, and allowing easy changes site wide by modifying my external CSS file.

Problems?
I have tested the look of my site using a range of browsers available on both Macintosh and PC, and I have endeavored to check that each page is correctly validating. I am a fallible human, and so invalid markup may appear in some pages if I make a mistake. If you find that the pages are not displaying as you think they should or you check up on me by clicking one of the valid XHTML/CSS buttons and find errors, please email me, stating:
- the page you are viewing and the problem you see. Please be as specific as possible—"It doesn't look right in Opera on my computer" does not help me fix the problem you are seeing;
- your operating system; and
- the name and version of the browser you are using to view my site.
