Harmonize the energy in your home, office or business

Feng shui literally means “wind and water”. The Chinese believe that if you site your home in the right location you will lead a life of contentment, happiness, and abundance. Naturally we all want to lead happy, successful lives, and anything that can help us to achieve these aims is well worth investigation.

In feng shui, clutter should be eliminated where possible, because clutter blocks and constricts the beneficial ch'i from spreading easily throughout the home. The following explains some of the problems that may exist in your life if the following locations have clutter:

  • Wealth area: feel negativity and confusion concerning money
  • Fame area: doubts and confusion about your standing in the community
  • Marriage area: potential for problems in your relationship
  • Family area: disagreements or disharmony between family members
  • Children area: worry and uncertainty; a breakdown of communication between parents and their children
  • Knowledge area: makes it hard to learn, and difficult to retain what you have learned
  • Career area: indicates uncertainty about your chosen career
  • Helpful People/Travel area: hard to attract the right people to you

The Five Elements

The five traditional elements of Chinese astrology used in Feng Shui are: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. It is believed that everything in the universe belongs to one of these five elements.

It is important to have a balance of each of the elements in every room. I can advise you on how to balance the elements during our consultation.

The following is a chart about the emblems for each element and how they transform each other. It also demonstrates the compatibility as well as the incompatibility between the five elements.
