The Tapping Points in Detail
Karate Chop point (KC)
This is the fleshy part of the side of your hand, half way between the bottom of your pinkie and your wrist that you would use to perform a karate chop. It is used to correct polarity reversal at the start of a complete round of EFT, and is also the last point tapped in the sequence.
Top of Your Head Point (HD)
Starting from the points of your ears move your fingers upwards until you reach the top of your head; this is where the Top of Your Head Point is located. Tap here with the fingers of either hand.
Eyebrow Point (EB)
This point is at the beginning of your eyebrow, closest to the bridge of your nose. You can tap either side (or both if you prefer).
Side of Eye Point (SE)
This point is on the outer side of your eye on the bone that forms your eye socket. Again, tap this point with two fingers; you may tap either side (or both if you prefer).
Under Eye Point (UE)
Tap on the bone that is about 1" below your pupil with two fingers. Again, you may tap either side (or both if you prefer).
Under Nose Point (UN)
This is located on the fleshy portion beneath the tip of your nose and above your lip, in the indentation you find there. Tap here with two fingers.
Chin Point (CH)
This is actually located above the chin bone and directly below the Under Nose Point, in the indentation beneath your lower lip.
Collar Bone Point (CB)
This one is best located as follows: tap with either your fist or the palm of your hand at the point where the knot of a man's tie would normally rest.
There are collarbone points about 1-2 inches southeast/southwest of the indentation at the throat so tapping this area with your fist/palm as described actually hits both of them. This is a very powerful point because it stimulates your thymus, thereby boosting your immune system. Tapping here regularly, even without a particular issue in mind, will keep you healthier and happier.
Under Arm Point (UA)
This is located on the deltoid muscles under the arm on a line parallel with a man's nipple. For women, it is best described as a point under the arm in the middle of where the bra strap lies. You may tap either or both sides, but if doing it publicly be aware that it does look like you're impersonating a chimpanzee!
Thumb Point (TH)
This is located at the base of your thumbnail. Tap here lightly with one or two fingers (I usually use my index finger).
Index Finger Point (IF)
This is located at the base of your index fingernail. Tap here lightly with one or two fingers.
Middle Finger Point (MF)
This is located at the base of your middle fingernail. Tap here lightly with one or two fingers.
Little Finger Point (LF)
This is located at the base of your little fingernail. Tap here lightly with one or two fingers.
